Frequently asked questions

How long do I have to wait for my jewellery?

2-3 weeks always. It’s not just the jewellery that’s made by my self but all admin, packaging, material orders, posting, etc too. This allows time for me to source materials, stones, to actually make the piece and of course to post it out. If you can collect-it’ll speed up the process slightly. For more complex/personalised orders- it may be longer. Ashes Jewellery is from 8 weeks-please see Ashes page for more info.

  • Can I get it quicker if I haven't ordered in time? Yeah, you totally can, but I'll need an additional £10 to make it a priority before other orders and quicker shipping. Please note, I hate doing this as it puts a lot of pressure on myself and can affect the quality of the final product. So please avoid doing this, as I want your jewellery to be as perfect as you want it!

  • My ring is too small/too big, or broken can you change it? Yes I can, there is a fee of FROM £15 to change the sizing-this covers things like energy bills, solder (to solder your ring back together if need be), pickle cleaning solution, polishing solution, and then a little to cover my time-this also includes postage back to you. If your ring has a stone in it, often the stones are delicate and can be damaged/cracked in the process (the stone must be removed to resize) so the cost for any stone damage will be added to the fee.

  • Can I collect my items instead of posting? Yes, choose collection at checkout instead of postage, but PLEASE arrange a collection date with Hannah asap, it is your responsibility to contact Hannah. You will receive an email to say the piece is finished and will be ready to collect from Y Ty Celf, 1 John Street, Llanelli, SA15 1UH.

  • I received a voucher last year, can I still use it? Unfortunately not, all vouchers have an expiry date of 6 months. 90% of the time your voucher will have an expiry date stamped on the voucher, if not please note the date on your email confirmation.

  • Can you make something I've seen online? Possibly, although I will not ever copy anything you will send me, I will take inspiration from the design and put my own twist on it if I know I can do it. Please don't be disheartened if I can't, as a lot of jewellery you'll see online is using various machines/equipments that I may not have.

  • Do you fix existing jewellery that I own? 9 times out of 10-probably not, if you can send me an image of the piece you'd like me to fix and a short description of what you'd like me to do and I will let you know, if a piece of jewellery is sentimental-I don't like to run the risk of ruining it, sometimes the 'silver' isn't sterling silver so it's a no can do in my case, but I will provide you with some recommendations of local jewellers.

  • Do you work with gold? I have started introducing gold detailing in to my designs, but not as a base metal. But please send me an email/message to chat to me about your design!

  • Returns- scary stuff, hopefully this will never be the case, but if there is a problem with your jewellery for any reason, (e.g damage in post etc) please email hannahmeganjewellery@hotmail.com with your name, order details and jewellery problem, and I will reply and deal with it as soon as possible! Refunds will only be made if the piece of jewellery is incorrect due to my behalf, and no fault of your own. Refunds will not be made due to things like incorrect sizing, change of my mind on colour/design, lost in transit/missed delivery date due to Royal Mail delays, etc.
If your piece of jewellery will be making it's way back to me,
please insert a note, with your full name, address, order number and just a note with what's happening with your jewellery.

And of course, thank you so much for trusting me to create your jewellery! xo
